Cook County Health & Hospitals System (CCHHS) is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to support the architectural design and participate in development of construction projects throughout CCHHS. The Architectural Project Manager will assist in the development and delivery of projects within established budgets, scopes, schedules and quality standards.
This position is exempt from Career Service under the CCHHS Personnel Rules.
Preforms projects programming, space planning, architectural and interior schematic design, design development, construction documents and contract administration.
Assists with monitoring activities of architectural, engineering and other design consultants.
Process required documents and submittals to Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
Assesses and verifies existing facility conditions.
Manages projects budgeting.
Coordinates signage standards and implementation.
Manages Interior Design Finish Standards to ensure design execution and completion.
Manages Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FF&E) Standards and implementation.
Updates electronic drawing files.
Assists in maintain CCHHS square footage reports & Real Estate summary reports.
Attends and participates in meetings as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Architectural Engineering from an accredited college or university (Must provide official transcripts at time of interview)
Three (3) years of experience designing healthcare facilities.
Current experience working with Life Safety Codes
Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Naviswork)
