The primary role of this position will be to support quality, timely credit evaluation services and processes. The role requires effective partnership with colleges, units, faculty/program contacts, and advisors across the University. This person will serve as an integral team member within the Credit Evaluation Center and its overall operations, as well as supporting the broader goals of the Office of Advising & Academic Services. This position will report to the Director of the Credit Evaluation Center.
Description of Specific Duties:
Create transfer equivalencies as authorized and facilitate posting of advanced standing credit.
Maintain the accuracy of the database and all records.
Serve as the Credit Evaluation Center lead for UC Online.
Coordinate development of articulation agreements and maintenance.
Assist in establishing a quality credit evaluation process for online programs; both official and unofficial.
Identify and implement process and procedures to optimally support online program matriculation.
Provide education, resources, and advocacy for the general advising needs of online learners.
Identify opportunities to enhance academic services to online learners and participate in their deployment.
Develop and utilize a broad understanding of the needs of online learners.
Partner effectively with constituencies across the University, including: colleges, program contacts/faculty, advisors, admissions, and other administrative offices.
Utilize technologies that support credit evaluation, online learning, and student success as identified through the needs of the program.
Support and assist in the deployment of general Credit Evaluation Center priorities and work flexibly within that team.
Monitor compliance with standards as related to distance education credit evaluation and advising.
Generate reporting and data analysis.
Conduct presentations and training sessions as needed.
Provide additional support to Enrollment Management and the Office of Advising & Academic Services projects as needed, particularly in efforts related to transfer admission and advising.

Bachelor's degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- Associate's degree with five (5) years experience; -OR- seven (7) years experience. Experience must be in admission, registration, student services, or a related field.
Experience in academic advising, credit evaluation, or a similar function that requires a broad understanding of college curricula and coursework.
A history of quality performance outcomes.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with faculty and administrators.
Skilled at working well within a team as well as autonomously accomplishing key outcomes.
Flexibility in meeting the evolving demands of the position.
Master's degree preferred.
This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
