Description: Located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, MBM is a commercial construction company seeking a full-time Project Accountant to provide administrative support for various size construction projects from inception through completion.
Responsibilities: The role would include the following, but not limited to:
Utilize job costing software (Computer Ease) to set up budgets based on estimating proposal.
Create a Schedule of Values based on the job budget.
Meet routinely with Project Managers to invoice projects.
Submit invoices to architects/owners.
Input approved Change Orders into job costing. Send Change Orders to subcontractors.
Monitor and invoice Time and Material projects.
Collect and submit Certified Payrolls, if required
Experience with a general contractor or subcontractor required
Working knowledge of Computer Ease or another construction management software helpful
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Skilled in math
Ability to maintain high job standards and detail orientation in a fast-paced environment
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and in a team setting
Strong multi-tasking stills
Highly motivated, energetic, ethical, organized, and friendly
