Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Capital Planning & Construction, the incumbent manages and initiates all financial records activity regarding plant accounts, capital projects and operational accounts. Incumbent exercises independent judgment to oversee and ensure the financial accuracy of the reporting systems maintained for Medical Center capital improvement projects. Manages the administrative processes required to ensure compliance with UC and UC Irvine Health policies associated with capital projects; responsible for recording and reporting of all financial matters for capital projects with appropriate UC offices; and provides responsible and accurate complex analysis, ad hoc reporting, evaluation, and recommendations on capital account matters to management.
Rate Minimum $69,600.00 Maximum $124,600.00
Required Qualifications: Ability to anticipate questions and address information needs by providing comprehensive analysesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystemAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadBachelor's Degree, or equivalent education and experienceDemonstrated advanced level of analytical skillDemonstrated knowledge of Contract Management Systems or Decision Support Systems and subsystemsDemonstrated knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, WordEvidence of sound critical thinking skills and the ability to think creatively and strategicallyExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishMust demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with staff and senior managementMust possess general knowledge of various reimbursement methodologies (per diem, per case, capitation, indemnity, etc)
Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience working in a hospital based environment working with reimbursement and cost data and working with all areas of the Hospital in review of service line and payor analysisDemonstrated knowledge of Contract Management Systems or Decision Support Systems and subsystems
