The primary responsibilities associated with this position include coordinating with the Operations Manager to direct the maintenance of Benton REA’s existing distribution and transmission system to provide adequate and dependable service to Benton REA members. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Operations Manager with the scheduling of the construction of new electrical power lines in a timely and efficient manner, along with assuring good working conditions, and providing the opportunity for maximum creativeness, personal satisfaction, and sense of accomplishment for the Operations Department personnel. A high school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED), with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in electric utility construction and maintenance, is required, and the ability to read and interpret staking sheets and construction drawings thoroughly.
