Ensure that design and construction of all various types of infrastructure such as roadways, parking lots and parking structures, sidewalks, roofs, bridges, utility tunnels, underground utility work, landscaping, civil and site work and others for all new and existing buildings and all physical alterations including ADA to the campus meet their functional and esthetical objectives, professional design and construction standards, low maintenance and long life and all applicable building codes and ADA compliances. Provide support for building envelop assessment, windows replacements, investigation for water intrusion into the building, deferred maintenance, project cost estimates and project management for various campus projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural engineering or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Professional licensure by the State of Michigan. Five years of technical experience in Civil, Architectural, Infrastructure and site engineering. Five years of project management experience. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
