Experience REQUIRED: A minimum of 10 years experience in multi-family and/or hospitality with a love for interiors.
Education REQUIRED: Bachelors of Architecture from accredited architectural program, licensed in the State of Texas w/ NCARB certification. We're looking for a strong Architect willing and able to stamp drawings, please don't apply if you don't meet this criteria.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
*Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
*The ability to work well within a team. This is not a formal leadership position. You'll be responsible to your team for for producing, mentoring, etc.
*A love for redlining and teaching!
*Strong verbal and written communication skills are required in this position as well as the ability to fluently exchange information and eliminate misunderstandings. You must have the confidence to speak up in front of a group.
*Proficiency in rendering and knowledge of Photoshop a plus.
*Portfolio of work including multi-family and hospitality development.
*Must operate with a "glass half full" mentality. Individuals with a negative bent will not last at T&T.
*A love for actually doing the work required to ensure your team is successful.
*Assisting your SCRUM team with complete documentation throughout all phases of a project on time and on budget.
*Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants as needed.
*Assisting teams in translation of concepts and information into working drawings that conform to standard construction methods and relevant codes.
*Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials.
*Coordinate with contractors during construction phase including submittal review, RFI responses, & site visits as required.
*Maintain project drawing standards and data management standards.
*Redlining drawings and training less experience team members.
