We have a vacancy for an avid individual with skills to perform specialized and detailed tasks in support of airport security, safety, and emergency preparedness programs. Not limited to the following, the ideal candidate:
Coordinates daily security and public safety operational requirements to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements; coordination of airport security and employee security matters, emergency plan and certification manual requirements, security-controlled area access and other operational area access requirements, programs, directives, regulations, laws, mandates, and practices;
Participates in the development and implementation of mandated airport security, safety and emergency programs; facilitates security operations for construction projects, special events and contingencies for compliance with requirements; conducts investigations and analysis of security breaches and violations of facilities, access controls, barriers and lighting; completes reports and conducts follow-up evaluations; cites for violations and recommends remedial actions;
Coordinates security and emergency exercises; responds to issues involving exercises, emergency and disaster preparedness, crisis situations and disasters, security breaches and alarm activations, accidents, evacuations, power outages, crowd control, internal and external threats, medical emergencies, and irregular operations;
Interprets regulations, mandates, programs, initiatives and serves as a subject matter expert and resource on areas of assignments; conducts security and safety assessments, tests, and outreach activities; represents and completes learning sessions and presentation on security and safety programs to groups, committees, procurement selection processes, and other initiatives;
Advances partnerships and interacts with internal and external stakeholders; collaboratively determine a course of action to realize resolutions, interfaces with and serves as a liaison to government agencies including tenants, fire prevention/management and law enforcement representatives;
Communicates operational advisories, resolves issues and facilitates decision making; advances implementation and acceptance of programs; monitors and coordinates contractual activities;
Participates in opportunities to develop or streamline programs, practices, documents, budgets; reports, data, budgets, and airport infrastructure; advances currency with industry and regulatory trends; performs other duties as assigned.
Graduation from a four-year college or university;
Three years of progressively responsible administrative and/or programmatic experience in aviation security and/or emergency preparedness;
Or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Demonstrated collaborative interpersonal proficiency to engage and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels within and outside the organization.
Strong verbal and writing skills to construct and present compelling information to promote organizational objectives.
Strong organizational skills and ability to complete assignments within expectation.
Proficient use MS Office Suites and knowledge of access control technology.
Ability to deliver targeted results to specification, at cost, and on schedule.

Additional Salary Information: Depending on experience, reward is between $62,450 and $67,000 per year.
