Performs diversified work of construction, repair and operation of distribution and transmission facilities. Works on energized lines, structures and equipment involved in the distribution of electricity. Employees in this capacity may serve as Crew Foreman, providing supervision and leadership to a crew while performing the regular duties of Journeyman Lineman.
Journeyman Lineman certification OR must have completed a recognized, qualified apprenticeship program for electrical utility Journeyman Lineman and have met all minimum requirements of the trade and the ability to successfully pass the IBEW Local 44 Journeyman Lineman's exam within a year of date of hire.
