This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions for corporate headquarters and other office(s) as assigned. Manages common business support services including, but not limited to: facilities, mail, records filing, purchasing, and reception/switchboard. Trains new staff and ensures adequate coverage during absences and vacations. In conjunction with director, this manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing corporate administrative services policies and programs as assigned. Additionally, this position is responsible for the planning and execution of assigned capital projects including project scope development, RFP process, contract review and negotiation, vendor management, and management of project budget. This is an exempt position paid on a salary basis and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of Associate’s degree or combination of secondary education (and/or other related certifications) and comparable, progressive experience.
A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in capital projects, including office fit-ups.
A minimum of 7 years supervisory experience managing a multi-employee team is required, including proven leadership, teamwork and training skills.
Previous construction experience/knowledge required and experience working within a facilities department.
Experience in space planning. facility management and working with property managers.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; must be adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and have the ability to facilitate multiple projects with varying deadlines; high attention to detail and commitment to maintain a safe work environment is required.
Experienced and proficient with all Microsoft Office applications and with project budgeting and accounting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; must possess ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the company with internal and external customers and contacts, vendors, etc.
Ability to build and sustain positive and collaborative working relationships.

Occasional travel may be required.
