A part-time instructor is needed to teach SPM 437 Sport Venue Management (3 credits) during the Fall 2019 semester. Course description: This course provides an understanding of planning and managing different types of sport facilities. Through examples and recognized theory, students gain understanding about the complexity involved in conceptualizing, constructing, promoting, managing and maintaining modern sport stadiums, arenas, domes and multi-purpose facilities. Through class exercises, field trip activities and guest lectures, students develop an understanding of facility management. Class dates: 8/26/19-12/06/19, Tuesday/Thursday, 2:00 p.m. – 3:20 p.m.
