This position develops, implements, and evaluates laboratory safety programs and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for employees, students, patients and visitors. Responsibilities include managing laboratory inspection and classification program and Fume Hood Certification Program; serves as OH&S technical expert for the university in new construction/renovation projects and involving laboratory facilities and/or related equipment; develops and conducts laboratory safety training for online and in classroom sessions; and reviews all Animal Care and Use protocols submitted to IACUC Committee.
MS Office suite of programs- MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS 365 and Outlook.
