JOB SUMMARY The Help Desk Support Tech under limited supervision, will provide customer-service and 2nd-level technical support to user requests that originate from pre-defined or assigned locations, for repair service, new installations, physical moves of hardware and software in a timely and professional manner. This position reports to the Manager of IT.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE The Help Desk Support Tech provides user education on self-service problem resolution to address user errors, participates in end device deployment and technical configuration support to construction-related projects and produces written subject-matter documentation necessary to ensure standardized operating procedures across all end devices.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS The ideal candidate must have analytical, problem solving, verbal, written, organizational and customer service skills. Three years of experience in IT-related technical field is required. An Associate's degree (two-year program) or equivalent formal training program, or Technical certification in applicable field of study is preferred.
