Site Director, Seneca, SC
The BASF Seneca, South Carolina site is a multi-business facility which recycles precious metal catalyst for G-CCM/R and manufactures catalyst for G-CCP/O in support of global customers. The Site Director directly reports to the Director Manufacturing and indirectly to the Vice President, Global Operations Chemical Catalysts.
Site Director provides leadership, direction, and focus for all manufacturing activities at the site. This includes leadership for a broad range of activities including EH&S, Operations (Production and Maintenance), Operational Excellence, Technical, and capital projects necessary to support Catalysts growth plans. In addition, the position ensures that all processes and activities comply with BASF policies, regulations and our values for safety, quality, environmental and financial stewardship. The Site Director interacts with various business and support organizations across BASF in fulfilling the mission of the business, site and ensuring customer satisfaction.

-Lead the Site Team at Seneca to excellence in EHS performance; manufacturing capability; capital execution as well as to meet customer expectations in quality, service, and delivery
-Assume responsibility for Site Maintenance, Project Engineering, Controlling, Human Resources, EH&S Management, and Planning
-Drive a culture where continuous improvement, breakthrough performance, and an enjoyable work environment are expectations of all team members
-Build and continuously coach, monitor and develop high performing teams
-Identify and manage all operational risks including EHS, regulatory, quality, cost, equipment optimization and reliability
-Develop site operational strategy and objectives, implement budget, objectives, personnel plans, inventory management, and capital plans that align with the strategic objectives of the businesses supported by Seneca
-Develop and implement manufacturing and asset strategies to ensure assets are aligned with business strategies; that ensure technology transfers are issue-free; as well as provide for reliable & flexible product availability while maximizing asset utilization
-Be the public "face" of BASF to the community of Seneca and provide leadership to the management team
