Director will be responsible for the management of engineering department 13 employees. Knowledge and technical skills with designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining adequate, economical and reliable electric service for consumer-members of the Cooperative.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Power Option preferred) from an ABET accredited program
Professional Engineer license strongly preferred
Must possesses excellent communication skills, including being an effective speaker and facilitator
10 years of experience with managing an engineering team for an electric distribution utility system is preferred
Possess high technical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of TVA Transmission processes
Experience with MilSoft WindMil, Autocad, ESRI, SEL relays, GIS and SCADA may be a plus
Working knowledge of government regulations affecting electric utilities
Reporting: Reports to President and CEO
