Responsible for administering procurement of supplies, equipment, and services in compliance with College purchasing policy and procedures, and applicable state and local procurement laws. Provides training and guidance to College personnel on the various procurement laws. Responsible for the procurement of complex construction projects.
Associates degree or equivalent formal training in a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Certification in procurement and purchasing is desired to include experience with building construction projects.
Combination of education and related experience for a total of five to six years.
Must be able to work between the hours of 8:30 a.m – 4:30 p.m; Monday through Friday. The Work schedule is subject to change based on department needs.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
