MOBA Soccer Academy is an elite soccer club with focus on developing youth players for measurable progress and to equip them for a college soccer or a pro career. We are based in a world-class facility with turf-fields, stadium seating and indoor amenities with fully equipped gym, team building and class rooms. We are conveniently located south of Atlanta, in Peachtree City, Georgia. The MOBA Soccer Academy is also home to our men’s USL-2 team and Women’s WPSL team Peachtree City MOBA.
The Technical Director for our Youth Program will be responsible for representing MOBA Soccer Academy with distinction and to create a challenging and supportive environment for players. MOBA Soccer Academy is committed to the highest standards of character, honesty, effort and sportsmanship. Our club culture depends upon helping each player reaching their goals, becoming a premier collegiate athlete and a future leader in their chosen profession and community.
10 plus years of coaching, 3 plus years as a director.
USSF A/B license or equivalent.
Bachelor or equivalent education.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide range of individuals; players, parents, coaches, support staff, community.
Experience in college placement of youth players and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations within the recruiting process.
Lead and organize coaching staff to ensure compliance to applicable rules, policies and procedures; provide orientation, training and guidance, as needed.
Identify players with the potential to develop to an elite level through our curriculum and developmental path; provide players with appropriate coaching by imparting knowledge of the game and strategies for success on and off the field.
Understand and follow US Youth Soccer system/regulations and develop a program that challenges players to succeed, individually and as a team.
Plan, implement and evaluate sessions. Communicate expectations, praise and corrective feedback in a clear and constructive manner.
Manage and administer all aspects of the program, including, but not limited to, recruiting, budget management, coordination of team travel, and reporting of recruiting activities.
Full time position, with evening and weekend availability, travel may be required. Director will be compensated for annual coaching education, professional development and qualified travel costs.
