The Rockwell Automation Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for the functional testing of Rockwell Automation products, components, and systems. As a Test Engineer, you will have the opportunity to test Rockwell products during their development, before a release reaches any customer. The position will ensure that all products are tested thoroughly, prior to release.
As a Test Engineer in for a Logix Controller Embedded Software Team, you will be responsible for test planning, test case generation and test execution utilizing analysis, construction, and execution techniques that are unique to the industrial automation problem and - in some cases - unlike processes used anywhere else in the industry.
State of the art troubleshooting and debug techniques are a focus of the test team - you will learn to deploy and utilize the most sophisticated real-time firmware debugging equipment and tools available today.
In this position, you will be a key player in ensuring that developed products are robust, defect free, meet performance requirements, and are within total quality management standards.

Developing, executing and maintaining automated tests in Python.
Estimates, plans, develops, and executes test suites, test cases and automated tests, test reports based on test plans to ensure appropriate functional test coverage is attained.
Reports, analyzes, debugs and corrects anomalies. Takes the lead in the integration of other components by solving problems within and across subsystems to produce a final product.
Leads or participates in reviews of documents, designs, code, test cases and user documentation.
Assist with the transformation of our test architecture and frameworks to support the needs of a dynamic development lifecycle by monitoring and evaluating testing process adopted by the team and report any inefficiencies
Making sure that team's automated tests have appropriate coverage and traceability to requirements.
Supporting team's CI/CD environment and approach by maintaining tests up to date, executing them frequently and reporting results to agreed stakeholders.
Cooperation with more experienced team members to get support in executing testing tasks and facilitating effective communication both within local team as well as with remote stakeholders.
