Our client, a multinational banking and financial services organisation is looking for a number of KYC Analysts to join their team in London on a permanent basis.
The role will assist in the delivery of the UK remediation programme implementing the FEC 2019 Policy on a branch-wide basis, covering all Know Your Client (KYC) related activities (FEC/FATCA/CRS/ESR). This also includes the normal flow of new and review files
This KYC Processing unit acts as the central point of onboarding and reviews for the client
The team is responsible for the execution of the KYC ongoing reviews in the UK as well as all BAU KYC related topics.
This team covers several teams including Diversified Corporates UK and Syndications/Agency KYC requests. However there is a requirement for ad-hoc requests to be picked up from other teams
The team act as a conduit for all new and review business, so direct communication with the business is essential to the efficient completion of the KYC Process
The team will also look at event and time based triggers for materiality to the KYC file and will refresh where necessary.
Efficient handling and completion of KYC remediation and BAU KYC files
Review of a number of KYC related initiatives such as FATCA, CRS, ESR applicable to certain businesses and customers
Clear articulation of the requirements for KYC to the business or colleagues across the organisation
Ability to manage a workload of files being worked concurrently in an efficient manner
Previous KYC related experience required
At least 1-2 years experience as a KYC Analyst in an Investment/Corporate Bank.
Someone able to take on feedback constructively and be eager to learn and develop skills in the broad spectrum of KYC/FATCA/CRS.
Relevant industry qualifications, experience of KYC
Knowledge of different products/entity types (such as Listed entities, Regulated entities, SPVs, Trusts, Funds)
Clear and concise communication (both verbal and written).
Effective collaboration both within a team and across the organisation.
Self-starter, with excellent organisational skills and ability to establish and deliver on priorities.
Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and being part of a high performing team.
