Evaluate supplier production processes, including production line layout, human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.
Provide on-site supplier support for pre-production pilot builds and drive improvements to factory readiness, supporting early product ramps, raining and gathering feedback on DFx and yield issues.
Support DVT & PVT (Design/Production Validation Testing) and coordinate with Cx Engineering to establish test coverage requirements.
Engage with the Development and Quality team to establish parameters for early field failure analysis.
Engage with PLM team in creating of NPI BOMs and organizing and controlling in PLM system
Support 2nd Source manufacturing assessment and qualification.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Must have extensive experience in manufacturing with production line layout, human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow
Must have extensive supplier / vendor manufacturer quality management experience
Have experience leading company-wide Quality initiatives for manufacturing, construction or technology / hardware assembly.
Have experience leading process improvement initiatives
