Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties for the Facility Maintenance Technician-Building Trades include:
performing work on renovation projects including demolition and construction of new walls and partitions;
hanging drywall and installation of suspended ceilings;
preparing doors and jambs for renovation and for installation;
window glass replacement and hardware repair;
ceramic tile installation and repair;
construction and installation of all types of cabinetry including laminate tops;
and general maintenance work.
Prefer high school graduate with five (5) or more years of experience in framing, cabinet making, and finish carpentry.
A skilled carpenter with experience in commercial-related construction is preferred.
