University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is currently seeking a Manager of Facility Administration & Analysis to join Office of Facilities Maintenance Administration. The selected individual will design, write, and implement all Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS)/ Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and prepare reports as needed to provide support and direction to management.

PRIMARY DUTIES: * Develop processes for setup, maintenance, review, and reporting of data, such as vendor and inventory and asset list updates. Provides administrative, operational, and technical support to Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) users to assure cost effective and timely use of the system. Assist staff in the configuration and utilization of handheld devices. * Designs, writes and implements all IIWMS/ Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) reports as needed to provide support and direction to management. Maintains data accuracy and equipment in maintenance software that includes rolling out standard workflows for work requests, the preventive maintenance program, project requests, inspection, etc. Coordinates resolution of IWMS application/database issues. * Develop and provide reports that are relevant, informative, and maximize the value of the data accumulated. . Reports pertinent data to decision makers, individuals, and departments and share aggregate data across partner departments, Operations & Maintenance (OM), Central Administration Support Services (CASS), (REPSM), and Design & Construction (DC). Develop key performance indicators to monitor performance and makes recommendations leadership based on findings. Develop and maintain condition assessment reporting, benchmarking, and forecasting future levels of service. * Provides technical support and technical training to the management and staff to record and track preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, assets, inventory, various databases, and custom reports. Establishes guidelines and educates staff in the standardization of tasks, reports, planning/scheduling and best preventative maintenance practices * Performs ongoing quality audits of data and workflows ensuring consistent data entry that includes creation of work orders, logging of labor, parts purchasing, inventory management, etc * Maximize assets by tracking deferred maintenance needs, tracking equipment conditions, and monitoring asset repairs and expenses * Serves as a liaison and responds to requests with partner departments. * Administers third party IWMS contract, and reviews and implements the installation of software patches and/or systems upgrades. * Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, system administration, business administration, or facility related field. Experience: Four (4) years of administration including system maintenance and analytical and reporting of a facility management system, preferably inventory management, procurement, or facility management system. Implementation of system in higher education, healthcare, facility, or manufacturing environment preferred.
Supervisory Experience: Two (2) years of work experience providing supervision, program planning and/or work coordination
Other: Related experience may be substituted for education.
