Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or health related field.
2 years marketing experience in a healthcare setting
1 year experience in local healthcare or laboratory market.
1 year experience in the use and application of managed care terminology and various insurance coverage plans.
Florida Class D or E Driversâ™ License and driving record in accordance with AH policy
The Business Development Manager is responsible for sales, client retention, and development of the service line growth plan for Florida Hospital Laboratories within their assigned territory or market specialty. Additional duties will also include, working with the Asst. Director to ensure budget goals are met, Marketing Laboratory services to community physicians and other health care providers, providing constructive feedback to lab personnel and clients to maximize client satisfaction and adequate staff training. Meets laboratory goals to support Service, Clinical, Team, Financial and Market corporate Extending Excellence Pillars. Promotes and actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all persons. Ensures adherance of staff, as well as personal accountability, to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
