Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking non-credit part time instructors for the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Computer Education for the Spring 2021 semester. We seek qualified instructors who can contribute to the University's educational mission and bridge the gap between the classroom and the industry. Successful candidates will instruct/co-instruct on a wide variety of topics in K-12 mathematics.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
Instructing/co-instructing Mathematics workshops at the K-12 level
Requires a Masters/PhD. degree in K-12 Mathematics and least two years of K-12 instructional experience. Also requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Individual will have knowledge of classroom management, adult learning, and effective communication/facilitation techniques. We are an inclusive learning community, and classroom spaces should reflect that, regardless of subject matter. Success in this position will be measured through workshop enrollment attendance, evaluations, and participant engagement.
