We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Product Manager / Product Specialist to be part of our Ultrafast Lasers team. This exciting role has a direct impact on our ultrafast laser product line across many functional areas: Marketing, Engineering, Service and Sales. This position provides an outstanding opportunity to utilize your skills and develop your talents.
How will you do that?
– by becoming the product expert; providing hands-on support to internal and external customers
-- by learning the market needs and facilitating their development
-- by collaborating with sales and service teams to provide excellent customer support
There are opportunities for worldwide travel (up to 25%) where you will provide technical support and assistance to our customers, our best-in-class field service team, support trade shows and generate creative ways to highlight our product features.
Other key areas of focus include:
Develop and coordinate non-standard requirements in collaboration with other functions
Develop and provide advanced training for field service engineers and customers
Perform ultrafast laser experiments and collect data for customer inquiries and marketing materials
Develop product line service strategy with service department
Contribute to forecasting product line volumes and revenues, with sales and operations input
What you will bring to the team, along with your curiosity, is:
M.S. or Ph.D. in laser/photonics applications or equivalent in physics, chemistry, materials science, etc.
Hands-on experience with Ultrafast lasers
Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross functional team
Self-motivation and adept at multi-tasking
