This position provides administrative support to the operations department to further the objectives of the cooperative in delivering exceptional member service. Areas of responsibility include clerical duties for both design and construction. This position supports the Operations Admin. Supervisor and requires organizational and communication skills, decision making, problem solving and familiarity with workflow practices in addition, the ability to work with other departments within the organization and outside agencies.
Assist the operations department regarding residential and commercial services, developments and system improvements. This includes permitting, licensing, easements, contracts and all other agreements required for operations.
Processes new service applications and is the main point of contact for members adding/upgrading service to Inland Power. Coordinates with engineering on scheduling line design and site visits. Processes new service applications from start to finish with our membership.
Processes co-gen applications and is the main point of contact with members as they bring their system’s online.
Processes and manages workflow to keep work orders moving in a timely manner to meet member’s needs and complete projects.
Assist with dispatching and maintaining communication with the crews.
Assist warehouse and fleet with purchase order requests and administrative support.
Assist member services department as needed for overflow during busy times; i.e. outage calls.
Responsible for the organization and record keeping of all legal documents pertaining to the operations department including terms and expiration dates.
Identify and help implement process improvements for the department to increase efficiency and to provide the member with the best experience possible.
