We are looking for a highly technical Senior AV Engineer with experience in programming and project management looking to shape their career and grow with a company within this evolving industry
The role will be a combination of programming, project management, team management of junior staff and assist with customer support issues, but will also need to be flexible to assist with installation work when necessary.
You should enjoy working on client sites and able to build good relationships as you will be the central point of contact between the client and the technical team and have the ability to take a project from design through to completion.
Attention to detail is paramount and we do expect the individual to take pride in their work and conduct themselves respectfully and to the highest professional standard on customer sites.
You will be responsible for managing projects, drawings and scheduling of works and site support.
The job will require you to have key experience in:
Certified Control4 programmer
Managing customer projects end-to-end, including management of team members
Good practical skills and an understanding of construction techniques
Understanding and interpretation of wiring designs and schematic drawings
Installation of AV equipment and home automation products
Good working knowledge of all or some of the following:
MoIP/HDBT Video Distribution systems – Leaf/Control4, HD Anywhere, Binary, AV Pro Edge
TCP/IP Networking – Araknis, Ruckus, Ubiquiti
Lighting Control - Lutron, KNX, Control4
Satellite and TV distribution systems
Full capability with power tools; SDS drills and fixings
A full Driving Licence is required and a flexibility to travel to any client site is essential.
When not on site, your main working location will be the offices at CP House, Watford.
Whilst the official office working hours are 8am-4.30pm we will expect a level of flexibility dependent on the project. We would not expect you to leave a site until a reasonable level of job completion has been attained. We also require you to manage your travelling time to ensure that you are on site at the agreed time.
Conversely there may also be opportunities to work from home as and when your projects enables this.
There is always flexibility in the role, with times when you are required to work late and times when you can leave earlier. This will be agreed on a job by job basis.
