As a Technical Architect for RPA and BOT Development in the Verizon Business Group - Global Technology Solutions team, you will be responsible for designing frameworks and delivering solutions for our Sales Systems, Compensation Planning, and Commercial Operations to drive revenue and reduce costs for VBG. As part of these programs, you will leverage the System of Insights (SOI), Simplified Workflows, Systems of Engagement (SOE) and Digital Operating Environment to transform the customer and employee experience to eliminate manual processes, reduce costs, and increase revenue. You will be the technical lead for several VBG Transformation initiatives, partnering with the business leaders and workstream owners to transform our sales operations, compensation management and back office support systems for each segment of VBG: Enterprise, Business Markets, Public Sector and Wholesale.
In addition, you will help manage the development of new and existing platforms required to maintain and operate our core business, ensure our systems remain secure and compliant, improve systems performance, all while delivering innovative solutions aligned to the VBG North Star architecture. You will be responsible for identifying emerging technologies to support the platforms, building strong partnerships across GTS as we simplify our architecture and transform our systems. Your role on the team will be a critical part of the VBG transformation journey - increasing revenue, reducing costs and generating significant EBITDA benefits for Verizon.
Managing the technical architecture and design of the sales, compensation, planning and support systems utilized by sales and sales operations.
Designing cost effective automation solutions using VBG architectural constructs and frameworks.
Building high performing relationships, drive business engagement, manage expectations, align with senior leadership and working teams on initiative deliverables.
Using technical expertise to act as an advisor to management and make recommendations on multiple large-scale, cross functional, and complex projects.
Exercising considerable judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining transformation results.
Identifying actionable insights, suggesting recommendations and influence direction of decisions for the organization.
Preparing and presenting executive level reporting and presentations for consumption across GTS and the business.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Technical experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation and understanding of systems architecture and relevant technologies.
Automation Anywhere Certification with hands on technology experience in : AA v11 with two or more years of direct experience.
Willingness to travel.
Experience using JIRA tool & reporting, MS Office applications.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Technical experience with delivering and scaling automation, including RPA, chatbots and AI/ML.
Automation Anywhere hands on technology experience with Nutanix, Workload Manager, Blue Prism, UI path.
Good understanding of web technologies including HTML, Java Script, React, Angular JS, Java, Oracle, Weblogic and associated technology in an Unix/Linux environment.
Working knowledge of sales compensation planning, commissions management, ordering and bookings business operations.
Experience with Clarity Project Management in a sales/professional services environment.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to connect at all levels of the business leadership team.
Experience working with solutions architects on virtualized platforms and cloud infrastructure.
Hands on experience with enterprise systems development and API integration.
Interested in continuous learning of emerging technologies.
Demonstrated experience in partnering and aligning with cross functional teams.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, demanding, customer and team-oriented work environment.
Experience in the current VBG GTS org, with advanced time management and analytical skills.
