Summary:The Project Manager role is to be responsible for all preconstruction and construction related aspects of the project, including the day to day activities and responsibilities involved during the various phases of planning, site preparation, design, construction and transition in and out of the space for the project. Additionally, the Project manager drives decisions as relating to design, constructability, budget, schedule and other project related matters. The Project Manager will effectively establish priorities for the completion of projects on time, within budget and schedules all resources needed accordingly. Above all, the Project Manager will plan, manage and execute projects that create an environment where CCMC personnel can deliver medical care to our families that is second to none.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED required
Bachelors degree with 3 years of experience or Associates degree with 5 years of experience preferred
Experience 3 to 5 years of construction or project management related experience with progressive responsibilities managing a project budget greater than $1 million.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of MS Office applications
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Knowledge of construction principles and practices.
Ability to read and interpret contract and construction documents.
Must be a strong collaborator and effectively communicate to all groups.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to create and modify construction schedules.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Project Management Professional (PMP) from Professional Management Institute; American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM), Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) certification, or Health Care Construction (HCC) certificate - Preferred.
