The individual should come with strong consulting background and have insurance domain expertise and network. He or she will be a trusted advisor to our insurance clients on their platform and digital transformation journey.
Roles and Responsibilities
Engage directly with Insurance clients on their most important and challenging business and technology issues - addressing and solving their priority problems
Advise consulting solutions to improve Business KPI's, Processes and operating models
Work with clients to ensure projects meet the needs of the clients and their business and are aligned to the overall business strategy
Define and drive 'As Is' and 'To Be' process/operating model discussions
Support project team in constructing the business case and benefits realization plan, specifically analyzing the proposed solution to deliver the desired business outcome and associated project costs
Provide client-centric consulting solutions; coaching and guiding senior client stakeholders on complex technology-related business issues
Perform role of Insurance Business Architect to own and build business solution for large deals / pursuits and to present solutions / proposals to clients;
Work with market teams in building ASEAN Market strategy for Insurance
Evaluate Insurance COTS in the market to build eco system of partnership for Insurance
Sell and deliver consulting and business analysis engagements for Insurance
Build domain assets and reusable consulting framework for the market
Drive consulting and requirement workshops
Drive thought leadership initiatives for the Market by authoring white papers and representing Cognizant in Industry conferences and seminars
Build and manage Insurance Business Analyst and Consulting practice for the market
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in consulting, project delivery, business architecture, managing relationships at senior levels within top listed Insurers - in areas such as digital, platform and processes
Strong background in Insurance Sector (From a Strategic, Operational and Technology perspective)
Strong experience in APAC Insurance markets and regulatory systems
Experience in handling major LOB's of Insurance - Life, P&C, Re-insurance and Health
Experience of working with major Insurers in ASEAN region
A strong track record leading client advisory, technology selection and solutioning and a hands-on role in leading complex transformation engagements
Experience of working with market leading Insurance COTS solutions in APAC
Experience of customer engagement at senior management level
Experience in Insurance COTS product consulting including fit-gap assessment, roadmap, data migration and implementation
Experience in consulting and execution of digital transformation programs
Experience in project management
Good understanding and experience in Insurance operations across value chain
Leading Industry certification in Insurance
Experience in building business solution and lead the transformation track for opportunities
Experience in selling and delivering consulting
Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and financial modelling skills
Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Experience in Large policy admin transformation programs
Experience of hiring and managing business analyst and consulting team
Experience in authoring white papers and presenting in conferences
