The Director of Collection System Maintenance is a member of the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority Executive Team. In that capacity, this Director will help develop the overall strategy for the organization including long term planning, employee compensation, corporate policies and performance indices for establishing and measuring financial and service-related goals.
In the normal course of duties, the Director of Collection System Maintenance plans, organizes, oversees, coordinates, and reviews the work of staff performing difficult and complex professional, technical, and administrative support related to the programs and activities of the Collection System (Cleaning and Construction) and Fleet Maintenance Departments. This Director must manage resources effectively to improve organizational productivity and to ensure excellent customer service to the residents of Little Rock. He or She also provides leadership, support, and expertise to supervisory staff. And, manages the departmental budget to insure cost-effective services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
10 years of experience in engineering, construction, construction management and /or maintenance of a major water/wastewater system or related industry.
10 years of experience in supervision and management with a progression of increased responsibility.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with specialization in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
