ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Coordinate receiving and issuing of inventory materials, to include loading/unloading and directing work of others to insure proper materials handling.
- Maintain and update computerized inventory records on maintenance and construction inventory materials stored in the warehouse.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and issuing materials with construction and maintenance personnel.
- Review material lists and/or drawings, monitor inventory usage, and assist with establishing inventory minimum/maximum stock levels as directed.
- In the absence of the Inventory Control Manager, coordinate the stock replenishment activities for all the transmission warehouse sites, to include requisition review and approval.
- Assist with Investment Recovery effort at the Sidney Warehouse, and associated area, as requested.
- Conduct cycle counts of warehouse materials and assist with variance reconciliation.
- Must have and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with appropriate endorsements within 90 days.
- Deliver and/or coordinate delivery of materials to field crew, construction sites, and outlying inventory locations.
- Direct the work of material handler(s) and temporary staff in warehouse operations.
- Adhere to company policies, programs and procedures as well as Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), and Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO) standards and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws and regulations.

Properly wear and care for applicable safety gear and equipment. Identify and communicate unsafe conditions to supervisor, coworkers, and the Safety functional area and correct or assist in resolving safety concerns and issues. Must understand and comply with the Clearance Procedure as applicable.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education and Training - High school level English and math.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability: - Working knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and equipment, and use of personal computer/software.
- Working knowledge of electrical utility materials and supplies.
- Working knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to direct the work of others.
- Ability to meet physical demands. (Lift more than 50 pounds.)
- Must be able to meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
- Ability to interpret contract/specifications for material needs.
- Ability to use small hand tools and operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and front end loader.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
Experience: - Six (6) years progressive experience in warehouse coordination, materials handling, inventory control, investment recovery, or related area. Electric utility experience preferred.
Other: - Willingness to travel up to 25 percent of the time on an annual basis. (Must possess a valid driver’s license.)
