Job Title: Detailer (Working remotely is an option)

Location: Pompano Beach, FL (South Florida - north of Ft. Lauderdale)

Type: Full Time – Experienced

 

Specific qualifications and duties for the Detailer position include, but are not limited to:

  • Review new sold jobs in detail including architectural plans, drawings, specifications, and any other construction documents to create accurate submittals for doors, frames and hardware.

  • Identify and address issues with hardware specifications and make corrections as needed. Communicate as needed with the Atlass sales and project teams as well as the contractor and architects to resolve any conflicts. 

  • Effectively apply windstorm requirements for exterior openings and prepare separate submittals for them.  Atlass will train as needed.

  • Prepare FSC documentation for jobs that require it. Atlass will train as needed.

  • Ensure submittals accurately reflect the project scope of work as shown on Atlass quotes and GC contracts.

  • Successfully communicate and collaborate with Atlass project and sales managers ensure a successful project.

Candidates must meet the following requirements

  • Have extensive knowledge of division 8 products (division 10 helpful but not mandatory)

  • Prior experience in the commercial door and hardware industry – Looking for 3 years’ experience minimum, more is preferred.

  • Experience with Building Codes as they relate to openings.

  • Have strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Pass a background and drug free workplace check

  • Willing to continue industry training as needed

  • Experience with Comsense is preferred.

Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

NOTES:
Telecommuting is allowed.

Additional Salary Information: More about the position: •Full-time Monday – Friday, salary depends on experience. Remote work OK. •Health insurance after 90 days •401K after 12- 18 months – no vesting period for matching portion. •15 days PTO per year.
