Family-owned residential remodeling company established in 1967, specializing in high-end home additions, kitchens, bathrooms, basement & other remodeling projects is looking to add a seasoned Architectural Job Captain to our team!
Duties to include:
Investigate job sites with team members to identify project obstacles, verify existing site conditions, and avoid surprises during construction
Prepare Permit Drawings (plans, elevations, and MEP drawings)
Prepare Cabinet Drawings
Meet with clients to review Cabinet drawings and obtain client approval signature prior to cabinet order
Prepare Construction Drawings
Verify project drawings accurately reflect the approved project scope
Prepare Change Order Requests when there are project scope changes
Ensure work is completed according to project schedules
The ideal candidate will have the following:
3-5 years of experience required, with a professional degree in Architecture; license not required.
must enjoy residential architecture and communicate that enthusiasm to the client
must have strong communication skills and work well with teams
must be able to multi-task and be very thorough in the production of Construction Documents to ensure deadlines are obtained
