BB&N is seeking a full-time Facilities Manager. Primary responsibilities are to provide leadership, coordination and administrative oversight for facilities planning, maintenance and housekeeping for the efficient operation of the physical facilities at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School. BB&N is comprised of 300,000 square feet on approximately 15 acres. The budget for the Physical Plant is $2.1 million, with annual capital projects and special maintenance of $1,000,000. Operations of the physical facilities include a wide array of services including maintenance, environmental compliance, preventative maintenance, repairs renewal and replacement, provisions of utilities and energy management, grounds keeping, custodial, fire and life safety, waste disposal and recycling, facility vendor management and logistical support for campus events. The ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in facilities management, business or engineering, coupled with 5+ years’ experience supervising facilities construction, maintenance, or ongoing operations, including trades supervisory experience. Building manager certification preferred. Previous experience in an educational setting desired. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate:
