Contracts Manager

NATURE AND SCOPE: We are seeking a Contracts Manager to be responsible for participating, as a team member, in reviewing, editing, drafting, soliciting input from internal stakeholders, negotiating, managing and reporting on contracts with drug manufacturers, healthcare providers, GPOs, NDAs and other commercial agreements with respect to FFF Enterprises, Inc. and subsidiaries (“FFF”), specifically including FDI. In addition, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for taking a leadership role, in collaboration with other team members, in implementing and managing the contract management tool selected by the company. This tool is intended to enhance controls, efficiency and effectiveness around the FFF contracts ecosystem. This individual will work closely with the Contracts Administrator and Director of Contracts to help support overall contract department functions and responsibilities. The individual will work closely with the General Counsel in regards to all MinibarRx, LLC (dba RNI) related contracts, as well as implementation and management of the contract management tool and oversight of the contracts lifecycle. This position is considered an internal resource for FFF, as a point of contact for functional areas with contract responsibility for all functional areas with focus on MinibarRx, LLC (RNI), and other areas as may be assigned. Provide support in drafting, reviewing, analyzing, redlining, updating and standardizing acceptable contract language, as is possible, in order to reduce FFF’s overall contract risk, including terms and conditions in contracting practices. Responsible for centralizing all contracts in the company using acceptable information systems tools which allow for the referencing and storing of key contracts. Responsible for providing contract extracts to FFF operating managers to enable the business users to effectively understand the key elements of relevant contracts. Responsible for developing “best” contracting practices and procedures. Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant internal stakeholders to provide accountability, visibility and awareness and support in implementation and compliance. Responsible for applicable contract close-outs, amendments, extensions and renewals. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Manages all commercial contracts coming into and out from FFF, specifically including MinibarRx, LLC (RNI). Reviewing, editing, drafting, soliciting input from internal stakeholders, negotiating, managing and reporting on all relevant commercial contracts, including contacts with drug manufacturers, healthcare providers, GPOs, NDAs and other commercial agreements. Responsible for implementing and managing the contract management tool for all FFF agreements, developing reports regarding the contract ecosystem, creating contracting metrics to help the company evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of the contract management process and to develop management reports to support the company achieve its strategy and goals. Provide support in assessing, drafting and standardizing acceptable contract language, in collaboration with key stakeholders, used in all contracts. Responsible for providing usable contract extracts to FFF operating managers. Responsible for communicating to all relevant internal stakeholders, visibility and awareness, interpretation and support in implementation of and compliance in all contracts. Responsible for developing “best” contracting practices and procedures. Coordinate with project managers, legal and other functional areas regarding contractual issues. Performing additional responsibilities as assigned. PERSONNEL MANAGED and MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: While this position is not slated to manage other employees directly at this time, the Contracts Manager will manage multiple contract(s) processes through multiple managers at FFF. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The candidate must have extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legal contracts, terms and conditions. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with personnel at all levels. Strong legal experience is required. Possess excellent administrative, organizational, and negotiation skills, perform due diligence and exercise critical thinking in all aspects of contract work. Solid understanding of information system tools to be an expert in document storage and retrieving from central repository for the company. Represent the Company in a professional manner and appearance at all times. Understand and internalize the Company’s Goals and Purpose; Display loyalty to the Company and its organizational values. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED: Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor’s Degree - Preferably JD or degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. 5-7 years of related healthcare experience in contract review and negotiations, legal work, regulated industry or related field. Experience working with and/or implementing contract management tools highly desired. Typical Office Environment: No unusual exposures Equipment Used: Operate office equipment Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel objects and standard office equipment. The employee must be able to walk, sit and stand. The employee occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs. (storage boxes) and occasionally kneels and bends.
