Reports to: Director of Safety, Health and Environmental Services Position Summary The Builders’ Association is seeking a full-time, highly motivated, Safety, Health and Environmental services office administrator. Acts as confidential assistant while providing administrative support to Director and Manager of Safety, Health & Environmental Services, and association members. This position is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality of Association affairs at all levels, both internally and externally. Coordinates office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies. The SH&E Office Administrator works collaboratively with the safety community, Builders’ members and Builders’ staff. Tasks include, but are not limited to, training database administrator, accounts payable/receivable for SH&E Services, submission of timely financial and training reports, preparation of presentations and proposals as assigned, and design and delivery of marketing materials. Also, must be willing and knowledgeable to assist colleagues whenever necessary as well as perform any other job-related duties requested by supervisor. Accountabilities
Accountable for scheduling, confirming, and recording of educational training programs for member and non-member clients. Maintains the official training records of class attendees, ensuring they are kept in a readily available manner for inquiries made by supervisor, company and/or individuals. Calculates records and assists Director with annual report of safety and health training courses, including area vocational technical schools funded by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Formation of Safety Management Service’s contracts and monthly invoicing as needed.
Design, marketing and delivery of renewal forms for the Build Safe Partnership Program (BSPP). Including publishing to association website. Assists in the planning of events with OSHA, such as Workers’ Memorial Day and periodic educational programs.
Serves on the CSG Scholarship Golf Tournament Planning Committee. Assists in planning, coordination, and delivery of annual scholarship golf tournament. Design and development of flyers utilized for marketing of event, including sponsorship acknowledgment and tournament signage. Accepts player and sponsorship registrations and all accounts receivables/payables associated with tournament.
Serves on the MCSC Advisory Board. Assists in planning, coordinating, and delivery of the annual MCSC. The two-day conference includes professional development sessions, a tradeshow and a safety awards program with keynote speaker. Design and marketing of flyers, sponsorship/exhibitor acknowledgment and event signage. Accepts attendee, sponsor, and exhibitor registrations. Manages budget and all accounts receivables/payables associated with the event.

GENERAL Assists Director in the compilation of the Safety, Health and Environmental Services Annual Board of Directors Report. Performs other duties as assigned in alignment with the objectives of The Builders’ Association. Processes day-to-day administrative items, including maintaining filing system, departmental calendar of events, accounts payable and receivables for Safety, Health and Environmental Services.
