Location: London Grade: 11 (for internal purposes only) The Role: S&P Global Platts is looking for a European Data Manager who thrives on the chance to decipher data systems. As the EMEA Data Manager, you will oversee the delivery of Energy Analytics data guaranteeing the quality and timeliness to system users. You will engage with our energy market analysts and clients to design and help implement the best processes for our data. In this role you will be required to grasp the complexities of data management for energy data and apply the applicable business logics and metadata to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The Impact: This role has a core impact to our Analytics teams by adding value to raw market data through transformation, quality assurance, and enhancements. The European Data is responsible for assuring the quality and completeness of data for Modelling teams, Analysts for forecasting, and clients. The Team / The Business: The Analytics Data team is tasked with ensuring the integrity of our data and the automation and visualization of processes and data flows. The team is supportive and collaborative with exposure to many business units from modelling to IT. They work great at moving forward with the group's mission and goals. A new member of this team will hit the ground running and collaborate with their team members immediately. What We're Looking For: We are looking for a process orientated, methodological thinker with a keen eye for detail, who has proven experience working and leading structured work-flows. Someone who enjoys dealing with large sets of data and problem solving. This role would be ideal for someone proactive and eager to learn about energy markets or data.
