This is a 2nd Shift role (Mon-Fri, 3:00PM - 11:00PM).
Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Ability to read and interpret prints, work instructions and 3D models. Set up and operate all equipment without assistance (presses, automated equipment, metal fabrication equipment). Perform documented visual and dimensional quality inspections. Follow process parameters for equipment usage. Suggest improvement sand assist in creating documented work instructions and process parameters. Responsible for using proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures. Responsible for performing housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Ability to embrace change and respond quickly and constructively to changing priorities. Ability to perform basic functions with computer. Basic machinery programming and troubleshooting abilities requiring judgement to propose solutions.
Basic Computer Literacy
Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs.
Walk/stand for long periods of time
Frequent interactions with peers/management
Strong Mechanical/Electrical aptitude
Interact with business system computer software and machinery efficiently
Follow Standard Operating Procedures or other instructions diligently
High School Diploma or GED
