FACILITIES TECHNICIAN
FLSA: Non-Exempt, Full time
Summary The Facilities Technician is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, preventative maintenance and repairs to The Winsor School including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and all other building systems. The Facilities Technician, therefore, has working knowledge of all building carpentry, plumbing, fire protection, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, life safety and security systems to ensure proper operations and to be able to act upon any conditions that are out of the ordinary. Specific technical skills in carpentry, plumbing, fire protection, heating, ventilation and air distribution are utilized. A working knowledge of other craft related areas are also necessary.
