A CBRE Healthcare Project Management Intern will work side by side with a dedicated team of CBRE Healthcare Project Managers, accelerating your learning and development by providing practical, real-world experience in the delivery of major healthcare capital projects, and building a strong foundation for a career in healthcare project management. This internship is in-person and will be based on a client site in the Atlanta, GA area. Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities This internship is designed for current college students, undergraduate or graduate, seeking a career in program management. Participation in the program is intended to provide a well-rounded knowledge of CBRE's project management service line with a concentration in project delivery for our healthcare clients. Working alongside a dedicated team of CBRE Healthcare Project Managers, the Intern will: Develop professional communication skills and efficient document preparation, assisting the CBRE team in maintaining the flow of project information. Intern will assist with creating Project Status Reports; meeting agendas, presentations, and record documents; and maintain the Project Charter. Develop time management and organizational skills by assisting in coordination of the activities of the Project Delivery Team, developing and maintaining detailed Project Action Logs, and ensuring commitments are kept. Gain practical experience in professional project management tools and methods by assisting in the preparation, development, and maintenance of the Master Program Schedule, Budget, and Financial Process. Develop and implement creative solutions to the complex and varied challenges of day-to-day management of major healthcare projects, involving multiple stakeholders and resources to deliver positive outcomes. Build a professional network with a variety of project partners, including architects, clinicians, construction managers, engineers, healthcare executives, trade contractors, and vendors. Perform other duties as may be assigned to enhance the development of the individual and organization. Qualifications Applicants should be self-motivated, creative, and disciplined, seeking to build a career delivering world-class project management solutions to healthcare industry clients. This internship is designed for candidates with a strong academic background, pursuing a bachelor or master's degree from an accredited program. CBRE Healthcare interns come from a diverse slate of academic majors: Architecture, Building Construction, Business, Engineering, and Healthcare Administration are the most common. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral presentation and written skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and monitor project activities, and should be able to manage their time effectively in order to deliver consistently high-quality work product. Some practical experience work experience (either design and construction or healthcare industry) is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom is required. Applicant should be willing and able to be physically present while following appropriate CDC protocols for working safely at a healthcare facility.
