Job Summary Menemsha is seeking, motivated individuals to join our practice who possess the core qualities of enthusiasm, strong character, high intellect and strong interpersonal skills. We have a current opportunity for a senior level management position requiring first-hand experience in all aspects of the field of architectural facility survey: - Technical knowledge of various aspects of architectural facility survey in the areas of Retail, Education, Hospitality, Office, and other Commercial use of built environment.
- Construction Documents preparation abilities.
- Field and Production Team Management and efficient Project Delivery (on time, on budget, on scope).
- Project Management expertise.

- Financial Management and Responsibility for all work performed by the Team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Works with VP in implementation and overall execution of the vision and direction for the entire Division.
- Works with VP in the expansion of the Division by:
- Creating project proposals and responding to RFPs for new and existing clients
- Identifying new Markets and service offerings that can complement Menemsha’s Survey Division
- Attending, related trade shows, expos and seminars in support of the business development for the Division on as required basis
- Supports the creation of marketing assets
- Updating of the Division’s Website with new projects and news
- Manpower assessment for programs and projects
- Supervises assigned personnel within the Department, including but not limited to Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers, Senior Job Captains, Job Captains and Field Surveyors
- Presents weekly updates on all projects and programs to the VP
- Works with VP in development of the Division’s yearly budget.
- Leads the development of templates and standards within the department.
- Works with VP in the development of standard operating practices – implements and executes on these strategies.
- Develops solutions to a diverse range of program specific issues and problems, which require creativity and innovation. Recommends new solutions and provides guidance to project team (s).
- Reviews and approves all phases of projects, as required.
- Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and parties.
- Accountable for the quality of services and profitability of Division.
- Extensive contact with clients, vendors, and project personnel. Strive to keep client satisfaction at a high level.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining consultant relationships pursuant to the goals of the division.
- Proposal Development, and responsible for the cost estimates, manpower requirements and forecasting.
- Responsible for accurate financial Program reporting.
- Develop quality relationships with clients to recognize new business opportunities with existing clients
- Works with VP in development of new processes for the Division
- Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.
- Resolves disputes and conflict related to assigned projects and team.
- Overall responsibility for hiring, staffing, training and development of Programs under their direct supervision
- Oversee’s equipment management and resource management
Other Important Duties - Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation via participation in professional societies and activities related to our industry and protect and develop the Company’s brands.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - 5 years of management related experience in Facility Survey and related fields.
- Knowledge and proficiency with ADA and accessibility standards
- Technical As Built and Construction Document Production
- Proven record of pertinent Management and Leadership experience
- Autocad
- Revit
- Knowledge of Lidar, point cloud, scanning and Scan2Cad and Scan2Bim processes.

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or commensurate on the job experience. Over 10 years of experience in the field of Architecture or Facilities with emphasis in Management of Roll Out Projects, Work Environment General office working environment. Job will generally be performed in office environment, but travel will be required for client visits, seminars, construction job sites, business related trade show events. |
