Iowa State University is seeking qualified candidates for a Facilities Project Coordinator III position for the Facilities Design and Construction unit within Facilities Planning and Management (FP&M).
This position is responsible for processing all Project Requests for FP&M services related to renovation, capital renewal and building repair projects for campus facilities. The position serves as liaison between university departments and FP&M; assuring the funding sources are valid and that proper purchasing procedures are utilized as required by the funding source. This position is responsible for disbursement of projects to Facilities Design and Construction (FD&C) staff; administering the transition of Project Requests through their course of the projects workflow process; supports procurement responsibilities as needed to handle the work load; and also provides the day-to-day support of the operational needs of the FD&C unit. Skills important to this position include the understanding of process management and analytical/inquisitive thinking. The successful candidate will possess good communication and organizational skill; great attention to detail; the ability to interact with a variety of clients; work independently; and contribute to a team environment.
