 As the Engineer, you will direct activities to fulfill our mission to provide safe, reliable, cost-effective electricity to all customers by ensuring proper planning and design of electric facilities that will meet the present and future needs for customers, while meeting all applicable safety, regulatory and construction standards. You will also manage all aspects of construction and reconstruction of electrical sub-transmission, substations and distribution lines from inception to conclusion. In addition, you will supervise support personnel related to operations and represent the company to consumers, community and industry all while demonstrating the commitment to rural development and community relations. Your goal each day will be to foster a collaborative/team-oriented working climate to maximize employee safety, morale and productivity.
