Operations Analyst performs data analytics on custom reports, organizes logistics for many Operations processes, writes standard operating procedures (SOPs), and assists in various other Operations tasks with other Operations personnel.
Essential Job Functions:
Performs data analytics of Operations statistics regarding work order completion, service orders, job inspections, tailboards, work order processing, PPE inspections, truck and tool inspections, linemen school surveys, crew callouts, etc. via existing reports.
Conducts minor maintenance on existing Operations reports (Tableau).
Initiates member communication for planned outages.
Exports reports monthly for board meetings.
Creates standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety standard operating procedures (SSOPs) for Operations processes and personnel.
Tracks the status of Operations SOP and SSOP drafts to publishing status and communication to Operations personnel.
Collects data from reports regarding linemen training requirements and compiles yearly training schedule.
Manages student enrollment in linemen apprentice online video courses.
Schedules linemen progression tests and creates randomized tests from existing question banks, including recurring Journeyman tests.
Tracks in progress Work Plan and other large construction projects (Smartsheets).
Manages in-house crew and contractor lists, including contractor badge creation, replacement, and deactivation.
Assists in the review of Master Contracts with construction contractors.
Compiles and analyzes construction contractor unit labor prices and establishes market prices. Negotiates with contractors on unit labor prices.
Facilitates and schedules annual FR clothing inspections and creates FR clothing orders from data provided by inspection.
Participates in the Standards Committee for spec book modifications as the lead Operations representative and organizes Operations requests for said committee.
Manages standard tool list for personnel and trucks by type.
Files all Operations boot reimbursement requests and validates requests against existing policy and employee reimbursement history.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Associate’s degree or greater preferred.
One to four years’ experience.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Expertise in Microsoft Excel preferred.
Understanding of databases and experience with Smartsheets preferred.

Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel formula application and advanced/efficient typing skills preferred.
