Under the direction of the Dean of Virtual Campus, the Coordinator works closely with the Dean to meet operational and strategic needs and functions of the Virtual Campus. This person coordinates all administrative aspects of Distance Education at CCM, including but not limited to supporting faculty, students, and staff in all aspects of distance education. In addition, this position serves as the Accessibility Liaison to disseminate information for distance education offerings and while assisting faculty and staff in training and ensuring ADA compliance. Also works closely with the Office of Accessibility Services and the Center for Teaching and Learning.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting the development and meeting of Virtual Campus strategic plans, practices, and procedures
Maintaining lines of communication with administrators, faculty, staff; and students
Request, review, present and prepare appropriate data to inform Virtual Campus practices and processes
Preparation and distribution of informational materials, surveys, and other materials to Virtual Campus faculty and students
Evaluate and recommend potential software for Virtual Campus
Supervise and evaluate Student Worker(s)
STUDENT EXPERIENCE LIAISON
Troubleshoot and advise faculty and students on the use of the Learning Management System (LMS), while working closely with the Solution Center or other identified stakeholders.
Develop, update and work with various stakeholders on the training, facilitation, and assessment of the Online Student Orientation course.
Lead Student Learning Experience Team
Work with Accessibilities Office and faculty members to ensure ADA compliance and Middle States accreditation requirements in distance education courses
Work with Center for Teaching and Learning on planning, scheduling, and/or delivering of workshops, courses, and other professional development activities to disseminate and support accessibility regulations, compliance, and needs
Assist faculty with selection and construction of materials, and instructional uses of resources that are compliant with accessibility expectations
PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
Participate and support Virtual Campus Teams on various initiatives and responsibilities of the office. Participate, contribute and attend assigned college committees. Also represent CCM and the Virtual Campus through participation and presentation at the state and federal level.
Complete other tasks, additional projects and committee participation as assigned.

Affinity for technology – Experience with Blackboard, Microsoft 365, and Google Suite preferred
Qualifications - Experience: 3 – 5 years of work experiences in distance learning, technology, customer service and complex administrative environment required.
