Coordinates daily activities of the Kilcawley Center Graphic Services unit; provides creative direction for staff, interns, student designers, and photographers. Assists with the creation and execution of marketing strategies for a variety of platforms including websites, event calendars, print, social media announcements, digital signage, the YSU App, video, and other unique avenues to promote programs for the Division of Student Affairs.
At least a bachelor's degree in graphic and/or interactive design, visual communication design, or a related field and two years of experience in graphic art, web design, video, and/or social media. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a diverse work environment. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rare but occasional weekend and evening hours as needed.
Knowledge, experience, or expertise in the following: Adobe Creative Suite, photography, video production, art direction or the constructive critique of the work of others, website production, program/event Planning, print design and pre-press, and/or experience with social media marketing. Experience providing high quality customer service in a fast-paced work environment.
