Southern A&E, LLC, a leading designer of commercial, industrial, athletic, and educational facilities, is currently seeking a full-time architectural intern. This position will offer the successful candidate a fast track to a career in project management.
The primary job responsibilities include: consulting with the client to determine functional and spatial requirements and assist in preparing information regarding the design, schedule, code compliance, specifications, materials, colors, equipment, estimated cost, approvals, and construction time. Under supervision, the intern will detail buildings and prepare scale drawings, specifications, and contract documents for construction. He or she will represent the client in obtaining required agency reviews, approvals, and permits. They may also assist in the bidding process, on-site work observations, and construction contract administration.

Qualified candidates will have a professional architecture degree, 3-5 years of experience, currently pursuing licensure, intermediate to advanced level Revit experience, and possess excellent graphic capabilities and communication skills. SketchUp, Lumion, and Photoshop experience are a plus. Southern A&E will not be sponsoring any employment visas for this position.
