Kenwood Country Club is a private 36-hole facility located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Both courses were designed by William Diddel in 1930. In 2019, the Kendale Course underwent a renovation led by architect Jason Strakka. The Course & Grounds facility is also under renovation including the successful completion of phase 2 of phase 3 of the entire facility. Our Club established itself as the premier, private, and family-oriented country club in the Cincinnati area, and one of the top clubs in the Midwest. The overall character and competency of the Club has sustained extraordinary excellence with unflinching commitment to get better – every single day.
Kenwood Country Club has hosted the 1933 U.S. Amateur, the 1954 Western Open, and the 1963 U.S. Women’s Open Championship. We are preparing to host the inaugural 2022 LPGA Kroger Queen City Championship.
We are seeking a candidate who is eager to learn while thriving in a team atmosphere. This individual will get an opportunity to gain experience in tournament preparation, professional development, and construction. This position will play a key role in the preparation and execution of an LPGA tournament. There is potential for career advancement within the club.
Golf Course Assistant Superintendent must posses:
Strong Agronomic Background
Experience in the transition zone
Strong background in chemical and fertilizer applications including calibration
Strong background in irrigation management
Strong background in project and renovations
Strong leadership abilities driven by commitment to teamwork
Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively
Past tournament experience and/or experience at traditional historic clubs preferred

The two Championship 18-hole golf courses provide a timeless setting where members can enjoy a great game of golf on two of Cincinnati’s finest courses. The facility also includes a practice range, two practice putting greens and a short game practice area. Kenwood Country Club is proudly hosting the inaugural LPGA Kroger Queen City Championship in 2022.
The Kendale Course, par 72, is a traditional design with tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers and fast, undulating greens. Kendale is a great gem, with 7 sets of tees and one combo set, ranging from 7,142-4,247 yards, which accommodates all skill sets of golfers and challenge the best of shot-makers. The rolling hills course offers an abundance of sand and water, promising an exciting game each time you play. A $5M renovation has just been completed to revive this course to its original glory, following three years of preparation and master planning. Kenwood’s Kendale Course hosted the U.S. Amateur in 1933, the 1954 Western Open and the 1963 U.S. Women’s Open.
The Kenview Course is a par 70 with 6,415 yards of challenging diversity and is a great compliment to the Kendale Course.
