Assumes administrative responsibility for the operation of the Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Division. Provides for a process to define the division's mission, vision and values. Provides the leadership for setting the division's goals and objectives within the framework of College's strategic initiatives. Develops and manages the human, programmatic and fiscal resources to attain these goals and objectives. Seeks external support for the division's resource development efforts. Establishes and coordinates the marketing and promotion efforts for the division's departments and programs. Establishes appropriate liaison relationships with internal and external partners as necessary. Serves as a member of the staff of the EVP/Provost for TLSS.
Oversees the following disciplines, departments and programs:
Natural Sciences Department
Technology, Engineering and Construction Management Department
Terminal degree in an appropriate field relevant to the position.
Progressive academic leadership experiences over the last four years
Faculty member: minimum four years' full time, post-secondary teaching experience
Department chair in post-secondary setting: minimum four years' experience (preferred)
Degree from an accredited institution. (Unofficial transcripts must accompany application; official transcripts are required upon offer of employment.)
Letters of reference (job related and dated within the past three years).
Documentation of experience and performance.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
